Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide exceptional service and repairs with honesty, integrity and quality. Always recommending only what your vehicle needs and nothing more.

Services We Provide

Listed below are some of the most common services we provide. Please contact us for more information on these and other services.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is critical to ensure the safety, reliability, drivability, comfort and longevity of a car. During preventive maintenance, a number of parts may need to be replaced to avoid major damage or for safety reasons. We always recommend following your vehicles manufacturer maintenance schedule.

Shocks & Struts

Shocks & struts are a part of a vehicle’s suspension system and help keep the tires in contact with the ground for greater stability. They also ensure smooth ride. Like all other automotive parts, they need maintenance and repair to ensure the safe functioning of the car.

Alignments

Wheel alignment, sometimes referred to as breaking or tracking, is part of standard automobile maintenance that consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are set to the car maker's specification. The purpose of these adjustments is to reduce tire wear and to ensure that vehicle travel is straight and true (without "pulling" to one side).

Electrical

Wiring repairs to computer diagnostics.

Fuel Injection

Fuel injection is a system for introducing fuel into the engine. Fuel injectors and the control system require periodic maintenance and/or replacement.

Diagnostics

Complete vehicle diagnostics from interior components to power train computer controls.

Clutches

Adjustments to hydraulic repairs to complete clutch replacement.

Brakes

Complete brake replacements and repairs using OE (original equipment) equivalent or higher friction materials.

Starting & Charging System

Repair and/or replacement of batteries, starters and alternators and wiring/relay components.

Pre-purchase Inspections

See below for details.

A/C Repairs

Maintenance of a/c systems including complete a/c system replacement. We recommend having you’re a/c system inspected yearly.

Emissions Repairs

Vehicle failing emission testing? We can get your engine running clean again.

Tune Ups

This involves replacing the spark plugs and performing other adjustments to maintain or restore engine performance.

Timing Belts

A timing belt, timing chain or cam belt is a part of an internal combustion engine that synchronizes the rotation of the crankshaft and the camshaft(s) so that the engine's valves open and close at the proper times during each cylinder's intake and exhaust strokes. In an interference engine the timing belt or chain is also critical to preventing the piston from striking the valves.

Trip Check

See below for details.

Pre-Purchase Inspection

When you are looking to buy a “new to you” vehicle, you want the peace of mind that what you are looking at is safe, reliable and at a reasonable price. During a Pre-Purchase Inspection we will:

  • Road test the vehicle to check brake operation, wheel alignment and engine performance
  • Check belts, hoses, fluid levels and condition, air filters, visible condition of the battery, distributor cap, rotor & wires (if applicable)
  • Check that all the following are operational; Lights, wipers and washers operational, horn, power windows, power locks, trunk release, seat belts, emergency brake
  • Check the underbody for visible damage, brakes, brake hydraulics, CV boots, oil leaks, exhaust system, drive shaft, tire condition, suspension, rack boots
  • Check the body for noticeable damage, paint, spare tire and jack, exterior lights

Trip Check

Before going on a trip we recommend that you have your vehicle inspected to check:

  • Brakes
  • Engine oil level and condition
  • Fluid levels
  • Belts and hoses
  • Steering and suspension components
  • Tires
  • Exterior lights are operational

Car Care Tips

Change your oil

Change Your Oil Regularly

This single step will help your engine last longer and reduce the liklihood of expensive engine problems.

Check tire pressure

Check Tire Pressures

Proper tire pressure is an important safety component and can help improve your fuel mileage.

Test your battery

Test Your Battery

Batteries last 3-5 years and battery life shortens in hot climates. Test your battery 3 years and annually after that.

Check fluids regularly

Check Fluids Monthly

This includes all fluids such as oil, brake fluid, coolant, power steering fluid and washer fluid.

Follow manufacturer maintenance recommendations

Follow your vehicles manufacturer maintenance recommendations.

Each manufacturer has a different recommended schedule. This can change from model to model with the same manufacturer. You can find your Manufacturers Maintenance Schedule with or in your Owner’s Manual or by contacting Japanese Car Care.
